Learn more about us.
The Duke Asthma Allergy and Airway Center is a state of the art clinic that provides comprehensive care for patients with allergic and lung diseases. There are six pediatric providers with active allergy and pulmonary clinics for children. We also have thirteen adult providers who provide allergy, sleep and general pulmonary care.
Duke’s pulmonary program is nationally recognized for providing cutting edge treatments for a wide variety of lung diseases. Patients in our practice will have access to world-renowned expertise, assessments and thorough care. We manage both routine and complex cases and frequently partner with other specialists at Duke to provide our patients with the best treatment possible.
We provide patients with access to new therapies by offering our patients the option of participating in clinical trials for novel new therapies for asthma and COPD. We also have an active immune deficiency research program that is focused on unraveling the cause of complex immune deficiency related diseases with the hope of providing more targeted therapy in the future. Ultimately, our goal is to give hope to patients living with lung disease and improve both quality of life and longevity.
