What is the HealthView portal?
The Duke Medicine HealthView web portal provides patients with lab results, appointment and account information, online bill payment, and new features like Appointment Scheduling and Advance Registration coming soon. The portal can be located online at healthview.dukehealth.org.
How do I get a HealthView portal account?
One easy way is to provide your email address when you check-in or make an appointment. When you receive your appointment confirmation or reminder by email, there will also be a link inviting you to join the HealthView portal. Another way to sign up is to go to healthview.dukehealth.org on the web and click “Create an Account” and follow the instructions. If you create your account this way, you will need to login to HealthView and enter the following code “DUKEGIMPILOTOPCA” on the Preferences > Clinical Activation page.
Can I view my lab results online?
Yes. We currently offer outpatient lab and radiology reports online. Reports will be made available to you not more than 7 days after they are made available to your provider in order to allow your provider time to review them and contact you personally to discuss the findings, if necessary.
I already have a HealthView account. How do I activate clinical results?
Login to the HealthView portal at healthview.dukehealth.org and navigate to the > Preferences > Clinical Activation page and enter the code “DUKEGIMPILOTOPCA”.
Email address collection and use
Duke Medicine will ask you for your email address. If you provide it, we will use your email address to send you appointment-related confirmations, reminders, and notices, and to invite you to join the HealthView portal.
